HP Officejet 3833 Printer Setup

Step 1: Unload the printer from the box

  • Slide the paper-width guide to the right until it stops at the edge of the paper.
  • Do not shove the paper width guide so far that it bends the paper.
  • Pull out the output tray, and then elevate the tray extender.

Step 5: Adjust the ink cartridges

  • After mounting the paper, click OK, and then the printer mechanically prints an alignment page.
  • Raise the scanner lid.
  • Mount the alignment page with the print side down on the scanner glass, and then place it according to the engraved guides around the glass.
  • Close the scanner lid and tap OK.

Step 6: Download the printer software

Your HP Officejet 3833 Setup printer hardware is now installed and you can download the printing software. Do not try to link the printer to a computer until initiated to do so in the printing software.
